“Do you want to be healed?” — John 5:6

We are not responsible for what someone else did to us, what happened in our childhood, the betrayal we experienced, or circumstances we never chose.

But there comes a point when we have to decide what we will do with those wounds.

For a long time, I knew Jesus, but there were places in my life I had not fully surrendered to Him.

When I first started AVAC, I focused primarily on coaching within the beauty industry. After more than two decades behind the chair, that was where I felt qualified. I knew that world. I understood the struggles. And, if I’m being truthful, it felt safe.

Then God began leading me somewhere deeper. It felt as though Jesus was asking me personally:

Amanda, do you want to be healed?

Eventually, my answer required more than simply saying yes.

It required surrender, honesty, accountability and obedience.

It required bringing light to things I had spent years trying to outrun.

That journey eventually became my book, Charging My Storm: Running Through the Pain of Childhood Abuse.

I began to understand that perhaps God wasn’t only healing parts of my story for me. Maybe He intended to use my story to help someone else believe healing was possible for them, too.

“Then I heard the Lord asking, ‘Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?’ and Isaiah 6:8 spoke loud and clear.

‘Here I am. Send me.’

That is the heart behind AVAC today.

From Intention to Action

Most of us have had moments when we genuinely wanted change, healing, growth, to strengthen our marriage, to change our habits, or deepen our relationship with God.
We wanted to finally become the person we knew God was calling us to be.
Our intentions were good—but somewhere along the way, we lost focus.

Change requires consistency, surrender, obedience, and follow-through.

You may already be saying, “Here I am.”

Accountability helps your "yes" become movement instead of remaining an intention.

That is where I come alongside you.

As an accountability coach, I provide structure, encouragement, honest reflection, and Christ-centered support as you take intentional steps toward the life God created you to live.

I will ask hard questions.
I will encourage accountability without condemnation.
I will challenge you to recognize the lies you have believed about yourself.
I will help you identify where fear, shame, hurt, habits, or your past may still be influencing the person you are today.

And most importantly, I will continually point you back to Jesus and the truth of who God says you are.

Accountability isn’t about becoming perfect.

It is about becoming willing to surrender, being honest, and taking responsibility for what is yours to change.

You were created by God in His image. Your past may be part of your story, but it does not have to determine where your story goes next.

Jesus Still Heals

I am not a therapist, physician, or licensed mental-health counselor. AVAC coaching is not medical care, diagnosis, counseling, or therapy, nor is it a replacement for professional mental-health or medical treatment when that care is needed.

What I can offer is a place where you don’t have to walk alone.

I can walk alongside you as you take responsibility for the things you can change, recognize what may be keeping you stuck, and take faithful steps forward.

Sometimes healing looks different than we expected. Sometimes we experience it here on earth, and sometimes complete healing will not come until eternity. But our ultimate hope isn’t found in becoming a better version of ourselves.

Our hope is Jesus.

AVAC is for the person who is ready to stop living only in the question:

“Why did this happen to me?”

and begin asking:

“God, what do You want to do in me now?”

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

You don’t have to have a perfect past.

You don’t even have to know exactly where you’re going.

But you do have to be willing to take the next step.

Maybe today Jesus is asking you the same question He asked that man so many years ago:

“Do you want to be healed?”

If your answer is yes, I’d be honored to walk alongside you as your yes becomes action—and as you discover more fully who God created you to be.

Here I am. Send me.

About Me...

Survivor, mother, wife, author, coach, stylists, small business owner..
These are just a few of my titles.
My story begins with adversity few would imagine: surviving childhood sexual abuse, navigating the challenges of teen pregnancy, and enduring the struggle of divorce all by the age of twenty.
Instead of allowing these early traumas to define who I am,
I chose to rise.

From a young age I faced judgement, financial hardships,
shame and self-doubt. But I remained determined.
Every setback, every sleepless night and every tear became fuel to build a life many told me I would never have.

Today I stand as an example of what determination and faith in God can create. My mission is to inspire others to reclaim their lives, find their voice and never settle for a story others speak over their life.

Through every trial I faced, God was quietly shaping me for a greater purpose.
As I began to heal and rebuild my life, I felt a deep, undeniable pull in my spirit:
this journey wasn't just for me. God had brought me through the fire not just to survive,
but to help others do the same.
I am here to help you rediscover your worth, walk in faith and
realize that the past does not disqualify
you from purpose- it prepares you for it.
